Micro Boutique Winery
Our micro boutique winery with an annual production of roughly 500 cases allows us to offer fine hand crafted wines in the absence of commercial influence. From carefully selected fruit to meticulous winemaking practices, our wine embodies the very soul of France's Rhone Valley captured in a bottle.
Suveg Cellars Vineyards and Winery established in 2010 in the foothills of Southern California's San Bernardino mountains, is dedicated to producing the Rhone Valley varietals of Southeastern France in a style most consistent with it's region's tradition.
Our Award Winning Wines
Suveg Cellars proudly announces that their very first release of their 2011 Roussanne was awarded a silver medal at the Orange County Wine Society Winemaker Competition. In addition, their 2011 Syrah was awarded a bronze medal.
The Orange County Fair's competition is the largest and most comprehensive judging of California wines in the world. The 2014 competition featured 2,323 wines judged by 82 professional wine makers and/or winery principles.
Once again, kudos to the very best team in California: Ron and Sandy Fioretti, Jay and Sharon Fritzsche and Mike and Tricia Stubbs.
Our two vineyards, at an elevation of just under 3,500 feet, include grafted rootstock plantings of two Cabernet Sauvignon clones which thrive in the somewhat unstable temperate climate of the foothills. With hot and dry summers, the cooling Santa Ana winds of fall and the sometimes rather harsh winters, harvest time beholds a very special time at the winery when the fruit is used to make our Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, our only non Rhone varietal.
