Our 2016 Dolcetto, Lacking Diplomacy, will be released to the public on Sunday, May 19th!
Dolcetto, like Barbera, is a red quaffing wine of the Northern Italians in Piedmont. Most Dolcetto is stainless steel aged and taken to market quickly. But our Dolcetto spent over 2 years in a combination of French and Hungarian oak barrels to tame its massive tannins. With concentrated flavors of ripe plum, bitter chocolate, almond, and tarragon this wine will go with almost any food you pair it with thanks to its high acidity.
Lacking Diplomacy refers to the strong tannins of our Dolcetto, which we have taken the time to smooth over with extra barrel aging. Even with additional barrel time, the wine is still big, bold, and has many years to go before it becomes studied and diplomatic.
Festivities will be all day Sunday, May 19th starting at 12:00pm at our DOWNTOWN LOCATION
The address is 12132 California Street, Yucaipa CA 92399
