"Greetings and Salutations" 2016 Fortified Barbera Release Friday 11/13


Greetings!

"Greetings and Salutations", our 2016 Fortified Barbera, is coming back to the menu for the holidays! Join us for the re-release of our fortified wine on Friday, November 13th.

Greetings and Salutations is unlike anything we have ever produced. In 2016, some of the Barbera that we had intended to use in our best selling wine Liquid Assets came in with high ABV after fermentation. After much deliberation, Craig decided to fortify this portion of Barbera, taking the ABV even higher to a staggering 19.6% and 5.45% residual sugar. Now aged 48 months in barrel, the wine has developed additional complexity beyond that of our first batch 1 year ago. With port like nuttiness and mustiness, it's the perfect wine for the holidays.

These bottles will only be available for purchase by members of our Wine Club. . Though members of the public will be allowed to try the fortified Barbera, only members of the Wine Club will have the opportunity to buy. Only 24 cases are available of these 375ml bottles.

Event Details

  • This release will take place from Friday 11/13 through Sunday 11/15. We'll be spreading this release out over 3 days since our capacity will be limited.

  • All tables will be outside the tasting room, and you are free to come taste, have a glass, enjoy a bottle, or pick up wine to go during any of our normal listed hours.

  • No food purchase or reservation is required.

  • If you are feeling ill, or for any reason don't feel 100 percent, please stay home until you feel better.
