The Yucaipa Valley Wine Alliance urges you to attend the upcoming City Council Meeting this Monday, May 24th at Yucaipa City Hall.

City Council will be discussing the American Viticultural Area Planning Commission and the City's of Yucaipa's attempts to combine housing and viticulture. If you signed our petition to protect the North Bench, we urge for you to join us at City Council the upcoming Monday, May 24th at 6 pm, and request to speak on Agenda Item 18. If you're not sure what to say, here are a couple of talking points to get you started:

1. I oppose clustered residential housing on the North Bench.
2. I do not support the co-mingling of agricultural and clustered residential housing.
3. I support an overlay district that allows landowners to create commercial wineries.

On Sunday, May 23rd at 1 pm, the Yucaipa Valley Wine Alliance will hold an Emergency Community Action Meeting at the Suveg Cellars Tasting Room to discuss our plan of action for Monday the 24th. If you cannot make it this Sunday, please, please attend our City Council Meeting next Monday to show your support!
