We're proud to present our first-ever Barrel Select Magnum series, starring the 2017 Petit Verdot Riserva "Meet Your Maker."

What is a barrel select series? It's a series of wines that come from a special barrel, so special in this case that the wine was only bottled in magnums. While our 2017 Petit Verdot Riserva spent time exclusively in a 30-gallon French Oak Barrel, the Barrel Select version of our 2017 Petit Verdot Riserva spent its time in a 5-gallon barrel. This small 5-gallon barrel tamed all the rough edges of our tannic Petit Verdot, resulting in a wine that's even smoother and more elegant than the Riserva itself. All the classic notes of blueberry, cherry liquor, earth, and smoke grace this wine, but with a depth and texture rarely achieved with this varietal.

There are only 15 magnums of this wine made, making it extremely limited in its production. Bottles will be sold to the Wine Club only.

• The Petit Verdot Barrel Select Magnum release will take place on Saturday, November 5th.

• This wine will not be available online, and will only be available for purchase at the California Street Tasting Room.

• The 2017 Petit Verdot Barrel Select Magnums will only be available for bottle purchase. No tastings or glasses.
