We're proud to announce the release of our first collaboration with Escape Craft Brewery, a 2-year port barrel-aged stout named Black Sheep.

After the release of our first port-style wine in 2019, we gave our 30-gallon port barrel to Josh and Melissa Fisher of Escape. Josh then went to work, crafting an elegant stout that has picked up the date-like, spice, and nutty notes of the Suveg Cellars port barrel after 2 years of aging.

We named this beer Black Sheep as a tribute to every person who has called us "radical," "out there," or crazy for challenging the status quo and fighting to build a better community. As we state on the back of the bottle- being wrong and being different are not the same thing, and it's the black sheep of the world that move us forward to greener pastures.

ONLY 12 bottles will be sold at Suveg Cellars, as the rest will be sold at Escape. This release will be very, very limited. Details about the release will be in event details below.

Event Details

• The event will be held at our DOWNTOWN LOCATION, 12132 California Street, Yucaipa CA, 92399.

• Bottles will be available starting tomorrow, Wednesday, February 9th.

• No preorders of the beer will be available.

• Limit 1 bottle per person.

• Each bottle will be $25.

• These limited bottles of beer will not count toward Wine Club allocations.
