2021 Grenache Rosé "Double D" Release

Our Wine Club has patiently waited for the return of Rosé, and no one is more excited than us to announce the premiere of our first Grenache Rosé from Paso Robles, our 2021 vintage named "Double D."

Craig produced this wine in a traditional saignee style, bleeding off the juice after spending two hours on the skins. This behemoth of a Rosé weighs in at 15.1% alcohol and is more salmon-colored than our last vintage of Malbec Rosé. Packed with red star grapefruit notes, ripe strawberry, and high-toned citrus notes, this unique expression of rosé is the refreshing treat we all need for the heat to come.

This rosé is also the first time Craig used dimethyl dicarbonate to purify the wine from all microbials. At a team meeting in January, one of our illustrious crew joked that we should name the wine "Double D" in honor of this new process, and sure enough, the name stuck (after generating a lot of laughs).
