2021 Nebbiolo Rosé "Intervention" Release Sunday August 14th

Back in April, we released our Grenache Rosé "Double-D," and sold out just 10 weeks after it's release. What many in the Wine Club didn't know is that Craig made a second rosé last vintage, pressed from his favorite grape, Nebbiolo! At long last, we're excited to present our 2021 Nebbiolo Rosé "Intervention," which will release at the Tasting Room Sunday, August 14th at noon.

Our first Nebbiolo is made in the traditional saignee style, bleeding the tank to work with the light skin contact Rosé separately. This richly colored Rosato, as the Italians call it, has notes of white cherries, strawberries, ground ginger & watermelon, and is packed with riveting acidity underscored with stony minerality. For those who have never tried our Nebbiolo, this richly textured and tannic wine is called Attitude Adjustment. We found it fitting that the lighter, more consumable version of Nebbiolo wouldn’t quite warrant an Attitude Adjustment, but merely an Intervention.

Thanks to a light pressing, we produced far less Nebbiolo Rosé than we initially anticipated. We only have have 35 cases of this limited selection! Intervention will be available for tastings and bottle sales only starting Sunday, August 14th.
