The Wines of Greece and Turkey Tasting Course with Craig Suveg

This spring, Winemaker Craig Suveg took a 3 week trip to Greece and Turkey to reconnect with legendary winemakers and the terroir or the region. Bringing back even more knowledge as well as new techniques and insights, Craig will be sharing his expertise with our community on Monday, May 19th as he takes a deep dive into The Wines of Greece and Turkey.

The class will include: 

  • This intensive 3-hour workshop provides students with the opportunity to take a deep dive into Greece and Turkey, two of the most unique wine-growing appellations on the planet.

  • Students will be presented with 6 wines, and have the opportunity to taste through real renditions of grapes grown in the two countries.

  • Dive deep into the history of the region, and the unique set of microclimates that built  Greece and Turkey into the intriguing yet underrated wine regions they are today.

  • Learn about the most famous vineyards and producers in Greece and Turkey, and discover how their methods of winemaking and aging techniques create sought-after renditions of grapes like Xenomavro and Assyrtiko.

  • The class takes place on Monday May 19th, from 6:30 pm - 9 pm at our California Street Location.


Tickets are $30 per person, and will be going up to $40 on Wednesday May 14th. Only 30 tickets will be available for this event. The Class is FREE for Case Club! Just RSVP to claim your spot.
